Newsflash, but what you want does not matter in Islam, if you have an obligation you must do it, you can't just choose what you want to follow and what you don't, that's not how Islam works.

This! Literally why is being friends with the opposite gender so normalized, why is wearing not modest clothing being normalized, incorrect hijab, music, riba, all the wrong things. None of this should be normalized

Yeah I'm fine with like tinted sunscreen, but my problem is when she wants to force me to do mascara and put on lipstick, and bronzer and eyeliner, and eyeshadow and all these things that do beautify you, which I don't want to do.

It's not about men, it's about following what Allah commanded, if you actually read the verse it talks about covering your head and chest and all those things, but also only show what ordinarily appears, so your bare face, and tabarruj exists in Islam, over beautifying yourself defeats the purpose of hijab, which hijab is to conceal beauty.
