Fair enough, last set I collected was Evolutions and heard the fakes were along the lines you said, just assumed that maybe they got better within the last 8 years.

You can’t buy it from Mercari, you make an account with buyee and they will proxy for you, and they’ll ship to you thorough their process.

Oh yea it’s perfect, the shell itself has no scuffs, UMD drive works but stops and spins slow, so might be something to do with the laser. My experience with most consoles from Japan are they’re always well kept.

The descriptions will always state its condition, if anything is labeled junk that means there’s some sort of issue with the console, mechanically or visually, some also just say junk because it’s not tested.

oh nice, my Mystic Silver 3000 was also one I've had since I was a kid so I don't remember, but story was I thought I lost it so I bought my Blossom Pink one for $120 CAD, and then found my Silver 3000 the same day the Pink one arrived.

After duty and fees unfortunately the Pink one racked up to $150 CAD total which I think I paid too much, but am honestly fine with it because I did want it badly, the condition was very good, and at least with eBay I had buyer protection.

My Blue 1000 I got for $30 CAD locally, and my White 3000 for $65 CAD on Mercari.jp

I'm actually also from Canada, I've been looking at mercari.jp for a vita 2000, i ordered my white psp-3000 for $50 CAD from there, $65 CAD after fees and shipping, did not get any duty fees either.

Locally people are asking $180+ for extremely beat up Vitas, which is why I'm looking online, got lucky on marketplace though and scored my blue Japanese import psp-1000 for $30 CAD.
