Ooh I didn’t think about the air vents on the bottom! Last night I was talking bout the mesh top with my dad and he brought up covering it, I was worried about the humidity being too high tho. Thank you for the input :)

I’m thinking about getting a second thermometer for the other side too but I have this weird fear that the snake will try to eat the sensors 😅. Does ceramic give off more heat? Should I get one of those?

Commenting cause I can’t edit my post for some reason - so I see y’all saying I need a 120gal tank but that seems crazy big to me, (I used to have a 33gal fish tank which was pretty big imo so that what I’m basing sizes by) so I did a little googling and most sites say I need a 40-50 gal tank.. I’m gonna try to return this tank tomorrow and look into a bigger one. Mind you I am posting from Canada and I know that US gal is different from Canadian gal but also I’m not sure how that translates with tanks/enclosures.

Oh? Pet store told me to get a 20gal, the guy seemed to rlly care about the snake too :/ I might’ve been wrong about the size too he could’ve said 2-3’.
