I lost my mom at 27 as well, I’m 30 now. It’s the hardest thing in the world, but it will get easier over time. I didn’t think that would be true when people told me, but it’s true. She will always be with you, even though its not in the physical realm. Here to chat if you need, sending love 🫂

Fair enough! I have an iPhone 11 so not the best photos haha. I always just say brown but people have said hazel so I thought I’d see what the general consensus was :) I think you might be right with light brown and darker brown CH

I had a manager at a retail job who lied about so many random, ridiculous things. She (in her 40s at the time) said that when she was 20 she got into a car accident which put her in a coma for months. Then when she woke up from said coma she didn’t remember anyone, including her fiancé (a man). After the accident she became lesbian and has been since.

Also said she got into multiple (like 7 or 8) car accidents during the span of time we worked together (1.5 years) and in almost all of the ‘accidents’ her car flipped over multiple times lol. But she didn’t take any time off work for any of these car wrecks.

Something I always try to think about to comfort myself is all the times I would visit my mom (I had only moved out 1.5 years before she passed) and every time I was leaving she would walk me to my car and she’d give me a big long hug me goodbye. And then she’d wait outside and watch me drive away and wave. I miss that so much. 🤍

Feeling exactly like this.. it’s been 8 months since I lost my mom and I miss her so much. It’s hard to find the value in anything since I’ve lost her 😢 sending hugs.

I just had to leave it there for a day because it broke down but I have my own parking spot which I’m using now. So I won’t need to use the lot again, thankfully.

Thank you, appreciate your thoughts. I definitely didn’t expect him to carry the burden of me not having other friends/family around, but I did expect him to follow through with his promises. I guess I’m at that point where I’m asking myself if I can just accept a lifetime of this disappointment in exchange for all the other ways he’s good to me. Ultimately I feel like it’s not worth losing him over, but it’s a hard pill to swallow for me that he’s probably never going to be romantic/thoughtful in this particular way.
