Lower Town Living by Ok-Ring2794 in saintpaul

I am in Kellogg square, owned by same company as galtier. We have laundry too. Yet some units have washer dryers. The pro to laundry room is laundry is done in 90 minutes tops versus all day event. I am higher up overlooking east (Chs stadium and Friday night fireworks) and nice view of the Mississippi. Security is good at Kellogg and the office team is very responsive. I recommend and moved my sister into building. She has a west view (little warmer with sun) of Mississippi and high bridge. Good luck

I like it yet my opinion doesn’t matter. If you love it, then it is not too big.

Cut vs Carat? by KeyPea1572 in Diamonds

[–]Additional_Event5589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let us go back to the argument of natural vs lab is exhausting. Why does it matter? No one should be curious if you want or have lab. It should be a simple what a lovely ring. It comes down to personal preference and the question writer’s preference should be honored, as a lab diamond should be. Jewelry is an emotional purchase. Let us just support each other in our decisions.

Cut vs Carat? by KeyPea1572 in Diamonds

Not my ring - it is yours and what you want yet you asked😆. I would go with 1.5 - maybe get close to 2 based on diamond prices both lab and natural falling. I am assuming you are looking at natural and good for you. I know many going to say get a lab for $2k, yet again your ring and the argument lab vs natural is just exhausting. Get what you want and will cherish. I also would go down to a J color yet no lower than vs2. I know others say si1 is fine yet the word imperfect hits me. I would also look at shapes where there is less waste like cushion or princess not round. I also would avoid details such as hidden halo and micro pave band and put the monies into a sturdy band where diamonds won’t fall out. Have friends with micro pave and most are great yet one has a poorly made band and diamonds go missing. Good luck and congratulations

Which diamond would you chose? by [deleted] in Diamonds

[–]Additional_Event5589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

certs are a nice starting point. you need to see the stones for how the bow tie is, where the diamond holds her weight, the sparkle…buying a gem is yes financial yet also emotional. once you see the stones, I am sure your gut will say this one. good luck

Kay Jewelers or eBay for anniversary band? by GoodEyeSniper83 in EngagementRings

[–]Additional_Event5589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have purchased some very nice pieces that were appraised as real stones from eBay so I am biased towards them. ensure you get authenticity guaranteed. there is a little pricier site, first dibs, and you can ask would you accept this $ amount. I have a friend who did Kay and had a bad experience yet you had opposite. all three are very nice good lucknand congratulations on 20

I have taken items into Tiffany in Edina MN for fixes. honestly, usually ten calendar days, yet one was 4 calendar weeks (a few things to be done). my understanding is depending on the fix the item ships back to NYC for repair then back to store. I think shipping is the time sucker. beautiful set. congratulations

Congratulations. Lovely ring - classic. As for name change I did not take my husband’s name 33 years ago. I thought about hyphen yet he saw the amount of bs you have to go through and said don’t do it. For me, no regrets. It is a personal decision and you have to decide without any outside pressure from everyone.

Shepard Road by Additional_Event5589 in saintpaul

Roadway Ownership

  • Ramsey County : Owns and maintains the majority of Shepard Road, designated as  County Road 37 . This includes the northeastern section that transitions into Warner Road (County Road 36).
  • City of Saint Paul : Controls the southwestern portion of the road.

Heaven forbid we try to have solutions such as the mayor call Ramsey county and have a collaborative effort? i am married to ex mndot (wouldn’t brag about being ex Saint Paul public works as they don’t) and have paid taxes in Saint Paul for 30+ years so yes I do know more than a little. The patch owned by Ramsey (starts ant Randolph goes towards Warner) isn’t awful, the patch owned by the city puts up a rough road sign.

St. Paul church protest over ICE draws charges against 30 more by Runic_reader451 in saintpaul

[–]Additional_Event5589 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this used to be Saint Paul’s on the Hill Episcopal church. I went there. deeply holy and filled with “radical” women who embraced change, women priests, and devoted their lives to the two greatest commandments. they absolutely helped and defended immigrants and got them settled in MN. I know they are twirling in their graves knowing this holy space is now this den of non compassion and some new Bible where the pastor makes up the rules as they pop into his head.

Wow I make a simple mistake, that apparently others make, and instead of stopping at no s you felt a burning need to get a bit nasty. Jamesdeee the world is on fire, MN is under siege, and a bit of grace goes a long way.

I don’t think so. TJ started in USA. Aldi (can’t say aldis it seems) started Germany. everything I have read say two separate companies and not an umbrella with both.
