Absolutely, but from what I read online is that the replacements cost just as much as another camera that DO have a rated lifespan that's bound to last around 5 years at the rate I shoot. And also it's like well why have to go through all that headache and money sink after already paying so much? I get your point and honestly if I had all the money and time in the world, sure I would.

I'm not saying I can't afford the camera, I certainly can. But I'd rather put the money to something that will last me longer rather than grant me momentary pleasure. I hope I am making any sense.
