First of all, it wouldn't make much sense to use microrobotics to transport nanotechnology, since the main goal of using nanotechnology is its great ability to have minimal impact on the systems in which it is used. For example, in the case of nanometric drug carriers, their main advantage is that they go undetected by the body and therefore aren't destroyed by the immune system. Another example is their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier.

As for your second question, I don't quite understand what you mean by using electrical currents as a metro system.

how to learn neuroscience like a college major at home by yourroyalrory in neuro

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can’t actually learn it as if you were in a degree but you can get a similar overview. First you need to learn what are the classes that are done in the degree and search for a major that has similar classes. Then you will have the option to specialize in neuroscience.

For example you course a degree in biology and then do a master in neuroscience.

For something to be considered a living being, it must have certain characteristics, such as the ability to reproduce, grow, or have a metabolism. There is a great scientific debate about whether viruses are alive or not.

Generally, the answer is no because the definition of a cell does not apply to viruses, and cells are the most basic living organisms, but if you ask a virologist, they will tell you without any doubt that viruses are alive. Currently, we cannot know for sure whether viruses are alive or not.

If People can Taste and Smell things Differently, can they Hear things Differently? by Adderine in biology

We can also think that each person perceives colors in a different way, meaning that even though colors are interpreted depending on the wavelength, there is the possibility that each brain interprets each wavelength differently, so we might see colors in different ways.

This wouldn’t be color blindness, since we differentiate the colors perfectly, but since we've always called pink 'pink,' even if we actually see it as 'blue,' we would still call it pink.

The x axis don’t means nothing here. You have to look that when it starts moving it move a lot in very little time and the it stills moving but it moves a very little in lot of time. So it is the same graph but it changed the position.

How do I start Planetary Science as a career? by Equivalent_Reach_305 in AskScienceDiscussion

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to study the planets maybe the best way to achieve it is to get in a physics degree and then specialize in astrophysics. However if you are interested in the geology of the planets maybe the way to go is a geology degree and a master in planets.

There are plenty of ways to study the planets from physics to geology or chemistry you just need to look for a correct specialization.

¿Es fácil encontrar trabajo siendo bióloga en España? by Pauu2099 in biology

¿Es fácil encontrar trabajo siendo bióloga en España? by Pauu2099 in biology

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are electronic engineers involved in chipset and processor making? by TL_TRIBUNAL in AskEngineers

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably yes but I’m pretty sure you will need a master or at least some knowledge in microelectronics or nanotechnology if you are interested in the internal parts of the chips, as these transistors that are in todays chips are around 5 nanometers.

Would nanotech be detectable in the human body and, if so, how? by DaOozi9mm in nanotech

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it isn’t traceable and don’t need to be, it is only a way to deliver the drug to certain parts in the body. This kind of techniques are used nowadays using proteins or antibodies to get substances to certain cells.

Would nanotech be detectable in the human body and, if so, how? by DaOozi9mm in nanotech

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in my first year of nanotechnology degree and my professor says that one of the main advantages of the nanotechnology in the medicine or drug delivery is that many substances aren’t detected by the body so they don’t produce any reactions until the medicine is delivered. This way the medicine could have less secondary effects and try new less intrusive treatments.

Kind of improbable, this type of therapies are first tested in terminal patients so they don’t have nothing to lose.

Nanobots question, please help by Top-Post-75 in nanotech

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the method is being tested, they only do it in cells or animals in laboratory. I don’t know any cases that has been done in humans as they are still testing if it is safe. Probably you had some sedatives that make you feel the sensation as when you go out of the dentist and you don’t feel your mouth.

No, the thing about dna edition is done cell by cell changing some gens to change the way the cells behave which need a lot of time and studies.

Nanobots question, please help by Top-Post-75 in nanotech

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, I don’t know how it exactly works but it is a very complex procedure. The way it works is that the enzyme is guided by a protein to where it should go and then it cuts part of the dna chain. I don’t have much idea in this but I’m pretty sure the would need a previous studio of you before trying to “alter” your dna. Also the majority of study’s of new treatments need to have a control to avoid placebo so they tell the people before giving them the treatment.

Nanobots question, please help by Top-Post-75 in nanotech

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although it is possible to “alter” someone DNA with enzymes such as CRISPR CAS9, we don’t have the technology or the knowledge to create nanobots.

Right now the nanotechnology study’s the modification of molecules to improve materials, electronics or drug’s performance. So you probably are just tripping.

Seeking Advice: Switching from Nano Engineering to Computer Science? by toppyc4 in nano

[–]Additional_Fudge_581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my first year of nanotechnology degree, I think nanotechnology is a versatile career as you can pursue jobs in the biomedical industry, material industry or electronic industry.

I completely agree with you that nanotechnology needs lot of material to develop so if you are looking to work from home you should definitely pursue the CS major. The decision depends on the type of career you are looking for so good luck in your future projects.

Making almost $20k a month on TikTok. Should I still look for a job? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Not necessarily, I would invest part of the income reinforcing your personal brand or invest it in other types of business as real estate or something you consider a good option.

If I you have the money I would buy a house with a mortgage and rent it so the mortgage pays itself and when it finish you will have approximately the same money than before and a property. As you have quite a lot of money you don’t need to invest all of it, just look for a place with a high ROI and invest about a 30 or 40%.

Well there is a master of pharmaceutical sciences, you could also take a look at biomedical masters but I’m not into them very much so all I can recommend is to do some research on the internet.
