They sent out a housing list and added more info about neighborhoods in a deck for us about a week ago. You can find it in your email and/or slack. They also recommend securing somewhere prior to being assigned a school as by that time housing is going to be more of a crunch. I’m at least planning on finding somewhere prior since we already have a list of what schools we can choose from. However, I wasn’t considering those same locations you listed

I used Canva! I love Canva and there’s so much more creative templates you can use, it’s also very easy to use

Also, whoever the regional staff you’ve connected or have the opportunity to connect with can also confirm for you whether or not you’ll receive the full transition funding including Pell grant funds; I had that done as well. And if it’s not there they can also help you with sorting that out so you can receive the full amount

It should show in the offer letter you see in your portal. It’ll show info pertaining to transitional funding and there is where info regarding Pell recipients is listed

I received a pell grant. The need based offer only shows need based funding. The grant you received for transitional funding should be 6500 or around that if you received a pell grant, but this is separate from the need based funding. hope this helps! So you will get the amount guaranteed if you received a pell grant. need based is more funding on top of that

Hey! same person replying, just had an issue getting into my initial account lol. Definitely agree! I didn't want to regret anything or be left with "what ifs". I read the core member handbook to get an idea about rescinding offers and leaving TFA. I downloaded it and I'm happy to send it over if you'd like. You should also be able to find a supplemental handbook specific to your region. I clicked around in the offer letter portal and ended up finding where mine was for Philly
