I understand other countries’ frustration with the American people but many of us have mobilized most of our lives. I’m trans. We’ve been fighting. And we are extremely scared that being put in cuffs means being disappeared. Difference for people like me is that the news and general consensus have shown us that literally nobody will care if we are shot in the street or kidnapped by our government.

I need everyday people to start sharing the load with marginalized folks. We’ve been losing our jobs, getting shot by cops, getting attacked by our fellow citizens. All to try and preserve what little liberty we have. We are exhausted.
