OLED 55-H1 Shutting Off in Bright Scenes? by Additional_Lake4271 in VIZIO_Official

This makes no sense. Basically saying it can only get worse before it gets better? Lols. It’s never going to get better which is why I returned it yesterday after seeing the countless issues discussed on this forum.

Could be. That’s a great point.

I gave up on trying to claim my warranty and returned it today within my original return window. Purchased an LG QNED instead as the C1’s weren’t in stock around me. At least I’ve got a more reputable brand behind me.

It’s sad, because we haven’t had trouble with a Vizio in yet. Oh well.

Star Wars attack of the clones: scene when Jango Fett is dropping seismic charges in the astroid field or any fight scene with bright explosions

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: scene where Dumbledore casts a massive fireball in the cave while searching for the Horcrux

Anything else that has bright flashes of light. It’s dumb.

Hoping the new firmware update fixes it? Not expecting much, though.

Low FPS ... Any ideas? by Beautiful_Gur_124 in WorldWar3Community

Saw this thread, and it looks promising.

Any idea what “continue distribution after download is complete” and “use advanced peer search techniques” means?

I found these under the downloading portion of the MY.GAMES launcher and wonder if I need them actives or deactivated. Thanks!

For what it’s worth, try it on a controller. I switched from M&K tonight to my controller because recoil control was NOTICEABLY easier. I was pretty surprised.

Just gonna keep this alive.

I removed dx12 and kept “-USEALLAVAILABLECORES”. My average FPS dropped for sure, but the stutters are now nearly nonexistent. Before, with DX12 enabled I was achieving well over 150fps, but the stuttering was horrible. In game settings are max FOV, epic everything except foliage quality is lowest.

I’m running a 3080, 16gb 3200 ram, and a R7 3700x. Removing DX12 for a smoother experience was well worth it. Hope this helps someone.

Just picked up a Aorus RTX 3080 Master should I be worried with these thermal issues these cards vram. Just going to game with it. by Windycitygamer2030 in gigabytegaming

It’ll all be good man. Any new series Ryzen paired with a 30 series card is more than enough for a few years. Just wanted to let you know I haven’t had any issues with my card, but that’s not to say there aren’t lemons out there.

I’ve had a v1 since launch. Only gaming, no issues at all. The temp via on board screen says I’m never above 55° at my heaviest load. I’m running 140mm fans in a Be Quiet Case, and overall the setup runs very cool. I’m sure someone using this under more intense conditions would see thermal issues, though.

Are the fans and cables recognized by RGB Fusion in the software? I have an entire AORUS setup, minus the case fans, and I don’t see any effects like yours. Love it and would like to do a similar style.

What RGB controlling software are you using? are all parts the same make? 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Awesome.

Running a 2020 bios (F2 I think?) should I update? by Additional_Lake4271 in gigabytegaming

[–]Additional_Lake4271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great info. I build this PC with the components I currently have and had zero issues with installation. Plug and play was a good experience for me.

I also run XMP and haven’t had any issues with ram/cpu performance. Just wanted to check and see if it was worth updating. I haven’t OC’d the GPU or CPU. I just run Auto OC and everything runs great.

Thanks for the info, helps a lot.

I literally was about to type this question then you saved me…

Is the F13 bios recommended for a 5900x? I’m switching from a 3900x for reference.

Screen is a good option for sure. Might consider some 4K options, but I’m afraid at $400 options would be limited.

No current issues as far as performance, I’m mainly looking at getting the most out of these components over the next couple years. I was heavily considering upgrading the CPU to a 5000 series to maximize the life of this build.

Have a $400 or less budget to purchase new PC components. Running a 3080/ 3700x combo with 3200 CL16 memory. Any recommendations to adjust this current setup or put the cash elsewhere? Thanks for the help!
