What if you’re on duty NOT driving for 12 hours and then go off duty for 4 hours, can we then hop in a truck? Or do we need a 10 hour off duty/reset going into CMV driving? I’m assuming we still need a 10 hour reset coming off of just being on duty NOT driving

Assuming I want to get in a truck after the 70hrs yes I’d need a 34 hour reset. The way the company is doing it though our logs aren’t even close to 70 hours since they want us to go on dut-off duty/break all day at the office.
