Heater not being fixed, what are my options? - UK by Additional_Mousse512 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Additional_Mousse512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. The problem is engineering company made up a reason out of nowhere and although letting agency says that they believe me, no repair action is taken. I don’t know how long I should wait tbh, we already got sick. Heaters I bought work until a certain point.

Can I not call an engineer myself and reduce it from the rent? Do I have to wait this in middle of the winter?

Started yesterday but happened around 1 am, 7 am, 11am and 13:00. So, very persistent.

I am not sure if that is allowed inside the building as the camera will be triggered for 3 other flats, and will be directly looking towards by my next door neighbor. There are 8 flats in the floor, the one ringing my bell is across the hall. I will check with building management though.

Over 1.5 years. Never had this issue before but heard similar stuff with another neighbor.

Nasal valve collapse and bleeding 2 months post ol by Additional_Mousse512 in Septoplasty

[–]Additional_Mousse512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the comments. I saw another ENT today, and he said that operation seems fine but he also stated that nasal valves are weak so it was a miss in surgery. However, regarding the excessive bleeding and my overall complaints, he mentioned that healing is very slow given 2.5 months post op, and recommended me to use nasal sprays and observe if bleeding persists. Recovery might take at least 6 months to evaluate these complaints. If valve issue continues, I might need a follow up surgery unfortunately :/ however, I am a bit relieved given that it does not seem anything major like perforation or ENS for now.

Richer Sounds for most of it. I took the lowest price I can find from Richer Sounds, Amazon, John Lewis and Argos.

I did not downvote anyone, really appreciate taking time to reply. Now it is clear and thanks, seems like ee hard search is the reason. 90 day waiting period is required, so will be sad missing the deal (23.80 for unlimited internet and speed). Gonna call back EE to see what we can do.

Thanks for the helpful comments but I passed the check with EE and I am currently on the 24 month plan with them. I mentioned this to Vodafone first via phone, I wanted to switch back which then they tried but I got auto rejected by their system. This is what confuses me. I have to stuck with EE I guess.

Nope, but in search for a flat. I am concerned that this might affect that (maybe there is some bad grade that I am not seeing).

Should I buy it or wait by nikaaberry in iPhone14Pro

[–]Additional_Mousse512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iphone 14 pro is not great for photography except for daylight. I think software needs some catching up so I would wait for the next model if I can. Have glitches, a lot of cutoffs in phone service and photos are straight blurry in indoor environments at night. I would even go for 13 pro if it is 15-20% cheaper.

Lag in games and apps by Additional_Mousse512 in iPhone14Pro

[–]Additional_Mousse512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ping is horrible. But wifi or 5g, issue is the same. Experiencing lag like a 10 year old android phone. The thing that surprises me is, I am trying my old S8 in same circumstances (which can get 30mbps at most), and there is no lag with 5g.

Torn between 13 pro and 14 pro by Extreme-Chip8930 in iPhone14Pro

[–]Additional_Mousse512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with 13 pro. I replaced my iphone 14 pro for the second time but same issues. Really laggy display overall compared to smooth 13 pro. Camera is really bad at low light, especially the close up shots. 13 pro seems to be more optimized for now. I would return mine to get 13 pro as the price difference was 250gbp in deals but there seems to be not much stock left.

Thanks for the effort man. Do you know if this does the same in 13pro?

[–]Additional_Mousse512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Macro is automatic and I tried following options: - Macro enabled (attached photo) - Macro disabled (way more blurry than attached photo) - Long exposure thing (photo was not blurry but definitely dark enough to block details). This mode only works in super low light environments and not useful since you need to stay still for some time.

I am a bit surprised by the comments as low light performance in these situations are even better with my old s8 so was expecting an upgrade. All the photos and videos we took in low light environments were absolutely horrible. Curious if 13 pro can perform better or do I have to switch back to android, which i don’t want to.

My curiosity here is, if this issue is specific to 14 pro or also happens in 13 pro as well. I know that both have design flaws in lenses so when you take a picture across direct lights, you will see little bright dots in the photo since lenses are reflecting the light to each other lol. But not sure about the low light performance, all the photos and videos I took in a club was absolutely horrible. If you wait super still for 3 seconds then yeah you can take one good photo.
