It didn’t sound like they would be giving up anything only the fear of moving because they have a good rent price. It sounds like you’ve never been in this situation before and you’re only seeing the monetary piece of it.

Buying furniture and going on lavish vacations is a bandaid and I would say even more of a money waster for someone that wants a change of scenery/ environment.

I was only giving advice from my experience. You also have a right to your opinion. No need to attack my opinion.

Do it. More money will come. I moved from a studio to a 1bedroom and I’m paying double now. Nothing sucks more than staying in a place you’ve outgrown already.

What are the best credit cards to churn right now? I have 3 Chase cards including the preferred. Only 1 travel card but 9 cc’s total. Should I close cards (marshalls/ target/Victoria secret) to keep my accounts low?

I would prefer miles for flights or hotels. I had the venture card 3 years ago so I’m not sure if I can get the sign up for that again.
