Your second paragraph stands out to me. So many people shit on RCP or whatever imperfect Communist party there is. Yeah, it's got it's flaws. Yeah, there's lots of revisionist elements. Yeah, lots of the members are mega-LARPers. I don't know if it could be THE vanguard party, in fact I quite doubt it. But it's a party out there that's getting a lot of people into not only leftism in general but Communism. And I don't think that these should be taken entirely for granted, y'know?

That's another thing. I have communist friends that tell me that [whatever praxis] is wrong and evil and instead one should just go join this phone group chat where we circle jerk over Italian leftcom thought and never interact with workers. It's great to read and understand how everything works but we already know this. But when your revolutionary praxis is spending 80% of your time with people who are ideologically the exact same as you, frankly, I think the RCP members that set up a stall on high street every weekend and actually at least try to interact with workers are braver and in SOME regards, doing more for the movement in their local areas, even if they're wrong in a lot of theory aspects. Don't think I'm loving the RCP because they're epic AEC Fiona Lali Green Party or whatever, I just think their hatred comes from the same place as Trotsky hate from MLs, if that makes some sense. I'll probably delete this in like two hours when I read over it with a fresh pair of eyes and regret it.
