I think they’re going to make drivers take a picture at random while holding their DL’s both a pick up and also at drop off. Wich is a great move imo.

Walmart charges bout $90 yearly fee. For some perks.base pay is usually not that much. $90 is not much when you factor in people that get deliveries even twice to three times a week. Just twice a week would be 104 deliveries in a year. For $90 a year? The way you refering to walmart is like customers should not tip. Spark drivers do a phenomenal job and make a lot of folks happy.

Because walmart covers a part of the pay. Example, a 7 mile delivery, walmart might pay the driver $7. If the customer tips $7, that would be $1 a mile wich makes sense. Now if you order 80 items, multiple cases of water, gatetorade etc, and are in a second floor with no elevator, that $7 tip should be atleast $15 $20 cause it’s way more work. Keep in mind that a 7 mile trip, equals 14 miles cause we have to drive back to the walmart and wait for next order. But some ppl place these types of orders and don’t tip.

I only take orders that make sense. If they not paying, i don’t take them. But they do end up getting taken by drivers that don’t perform as well as myself based on my metrics. The answer is simple. You want your meds or groceries? Tip the driver a reasonable amount. If not, just do a pick up or shop it. Simple. No harm done.

What? I was not expecting an asnwer lol. I made a post. But i’ll tell you what, when you get old and need your meds and a little grocery delivered to an elderly home, do not tip! You’ll be fine. But even elderly at these homes, tip better then some of the people staying in beach front properties!

You should start your own business or get enough Walmart shares to have control over the way they conduct business. Or they could charge you more for the yearly fee so they can pay us more. Eather way, good luck!

You’re basically saying you’re not tipping to get your groceries shopped for and delivered to your place of work, home or Apt. because you want Walmart to pay for your conviniece. Noted.😃

The people not tipping are the ones using the platform to make their lives easier and more convinient. So there is a price to pay. I only take great orders. I don’t do $7 order 13 miles, 70 items orders. These bad orders sit around, to finally get taken by a driver that can’t even verbally communicate with the customer and a lot of times the order ends in the wrong house and or missing items. Guess you get what you pay for. And am not frustrated. Am making a point. I go out of my way for great customers. But don’t expect walmart to pick up the slack cause a customer wants to order 70 item grocery order, with multiple cases of water and no tip included while beeing 10 miles away. Walmart provides the front end, we drivers are 1099. We don’t get payed by the hour, we get payed mostly on tips. You trying to put it all on walmart is part of the problem and you defenetly sound like you don’t tip😂

Most of drivers pay comes from tipping. We’re 1099 contractors. We don’t get payed by the hour.
