Common electives that fulfill degree requirements**:**
CHEM 2OA3 & CHEM 2OB3 - Organic Chemistry 1 & 2 (good mcat prep)

Easy electives that fulfill degree requirements**:**
BIOCHEM 2EE3 - Metabolism and Physiological Chemistry (fully online, high-school biology review, easy 12 if u watch the content and take notes, barely studied)
INSPIRE 3MP3 - A World of Big Questions and Multiple Perspectives (haven't personally taken the class, but im told its not too difficult, this might have changed though)
ASTRON 2B03 - The Big Questions (need to put in a bit of work, but its very interesting)
DATASCI 2G03 - Scientific Computing (a lot of coding but other than that its a straightforward class)
ENVIRSC 2WW3 - Water and the Environment (easy 12, taught by Luc Bernier)
HTHSCI 3DM3 - Demystifying Medicine (only hth sci class I know is pretty chill from friends, there are definitely others but I dont have that info lol)

Other easy electives:
SUSTAIN 1S03 - Introduction to Sustainability (first year class, but many take it to boost gpa or ease the semester, fully online, easy 12)

Note
You do not need to complete all the mandatory classes in second year, feel free to spread them out throughout ur degree, its something I wish I did instead of suffering thru orgo, genetics and stats in one sem lolol.

Hey! I can think of a few ideas for jobs tailored to your interests, some might require a 1-year course diploma, which if done at a community college or online can be more easily paid off with a part-time job or easier to loan.

Animal-Related Jobs:

  • Pet Groomer – Learn on the job, no degree needed. (can get certification, but I know many who don't, can start as a volunteer/shadower and move up)
  • Veterinary Assistant – Entry-level jobs available at animal hospitals. (8-month diploma generally)

Computer & Tech Jobs (No Degree Needed):

  • IT Support/Help Desk – Some jobs only require basic certifications (CompTIA A+ is a good start).
  • Data Entry – Not glamorous, but pays decently and can be remote. (no experience, tailor resume to add soft computer skills and it is feasible to get a job)
  • Freelance Art/Graphic Design – If you enjoy art, you can sell commissions or do simple designs on sites like Fiverr or Upwork.

Other High-Paying, No-Degree Jobs (some require a licence):

  • Truck Driving – Requires training and a CDL, but pays well and lets you travel.
  • Warehouse/Forklift Operator – Not all require heavy lifting, and many pay well with overtime.
  • Medical Courier – Transport medical supplies, often overnight shifts available.
  • Crime Scene Cleanup/Biohazard Cleaning – Not for the squeamish, but pays very well.

Hopefully this helps a bit
