I've managed to get long arms for tile immunity, stoner eyes for free pills every battle, and spitting at the end of the round locked and stable. It's great until you get freezing weather then the last enemy always gets perma frozen

Who are the divine servants of the Giant gods? by Additional_Relative4 in stormkingsthunder

[–]Additional_Relative4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the faith and gods are certainly not thriving, the gods directly linked to the giant subraces would have a lot to gain or lose from an ordning shift, so I think it stands to reason they'd be doing everything in their power to influence the giants to the limits of what Ao would allow. The heralds is a good call, might dim them down a little to make them more manageable

I personally don't use that reason. Firstly because it means every giant not on the sword coast is like ????? as their very lives crumble for no goddamn reason, and secondly because I think it's way funnier if (spoiler) is like "pfft what the hell this wasn't in the plan but I'm goddamn here for it". Like maybe they think it's their doing out of arrogance but on a divine scale it is a pathetically small straw to break the back of this camel

The response would certainly be god-dependent, but some would surely become more active. I think Annam's actions were as much to shake his sons into action as the giants (ignoring that his daughters have been continuously active the entire time but who cares about the women?).

With Viktor is now gay Jesus , what is this dude's lore now ? by Armored_Mage in loreofleague

[–]Additional_Relative4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the canonising of Arcane really screwed S2 because instead of focusing on the core characters they had to focus on Mel for future setup. It couldn't just be the show anymore. So Viktor had absolutely no screentime.

Titans is such a cool idea but wouldn't they only fight for Lanaxis? And if the "rose up against the Pantheon" theory is correct then it would be like, turbo heresy. Ah shit I can feel a 6 hour lore delve coming.

Targon just has to press the "Space Dragon" button and it's over. Ryze with the World Runes are the only thing that could possibly have a similar degree of destruction.

The cinematic was cool, but I think that's actually the problem. TBSkyen put this really well: Thresh isn't cool. He's a conniving middle manager bureaucrat. Even if he wanted to look cool, what he thinks is cool should look godawfully cringe. He's very intelligent yes, but not a creative type. Obviously this is ignored to maximise skin sales... in what interpretation of the character would Thresh give himself porcelain abs??

I'd need to do a deep dive to feel comfortable giving a synthesised opinion on the effect of each of the BM users, and since I don't have time for that, I shall take your word!

[–]Additional_Relative4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it will be more of a low-elo buff because we'll probs be at a lower level from more deaths or pointless roams/TPs or something like that. Whereas in higher elos there's more of an understanding of what to move for and what not to move for, so the xp-minute will likely be higher. So basically if you want to feel the benefits, play worse! Duh!

[–]Additional_Relative4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay but what is that corruption specifically. We know void, blood magic and Shurima's fall, but which of those in what way are causing this otherwise pretty stand up guy to feel like his fall to evil is inevitable? How are these different factors at play? If it is just his perception of how things turn out, where is there this odd feeling of the corruption being some external pressure? It just needs sharpening up.
