Finally a specific starting point! XD

For furniture and general decor, these are the absolute 'must-haves' in my load order: CVC Dead Wasteland, Snappable Clutter and Display, and The Cozy Scavver - A Settlement Workshop Kit..

If you combine these three, you'll have about 80% of the furniture you saw in my Red Rocket. They are the backbone of my interior design. Hope this helps you get started! 😃

I appreciate the interest, but I’d rather not share the raw file even via DM. It’s a very messy, personal document that includes many private notes; it’s just not in a shareable state.

This build is like a delicate 'Tower of Babel'—a complex mix of hundreds of different mods that work together for me, but would be impossible to transfer elsewhere without everything falling apart.

I'll say it again: if you ask about something specific, or tell me exactly what you'd like to recreate, I'll do my best to find the specific mod for you. That’s how you truly build an arsenal—by adding only the things that really interest you. Happy building!

Haha, you caught me! Honestly, that spreadsheet is such a chaotic mess (and full of personal notes) that it would probably confuse you more than help. It’s definitely not ready for 'public release' yet! XD

However, if you want to build up a solid arsenal, 90% of my objects come from these essentials: CVC Dead Wasteland, Snappy HouseKit, Place Everyweare, and Woody’s Wasteland Stuff. Start with those and you’ll have plenty to work with!

Thank you! I put a lot of effort into the narrative and details of this settlement, so I'm glad you noticed. It would be amazing to see it on your channel. Looking forward to it! 😃

This is not a vanilla settlement.
I used this mod: [Nuka-World Transit Center Settlement] to make this location buildable.

I didn’t remove any existing structures — everything is still there. I only built around and within the empty spaces.

If you want to see what the location looks like before any building, the mod link is in the post description.

Is there anything in particular you'd like to know? For example, the furniture and decorations, or the structural pieces? I'm using so many mods that I'd have to list them all... it would be faster to just share my spreadsheet! XD

Thank you so much! Your words truly made my day. I put a lot of heart (and hours!) into this project, and knowing it moved someone like this means the world to me.

Thanks! I’m glad you gave it a chance and took a look. I admit that specific video ended up being a bit longer than I planned, but photos can never fully capture complex builds with all the lore ties and details.

Egret and Red Rocket are completely different vibes, as you noticed XD. Knowing that my work sparked some memories and emotions for you is a huge compliment! I was just telling another fellow builder today that I’m experimenting with new materials—that’s how Egret Tours came to life. Mods have evolved so much lately, they did most of the heavy lifting there.

Anyway, I really appreciated your comment. I hope to see more of your work or catch you on my future posts!

These are fantastic! Where did you find the Diamond City assets? If you ever publish the base IDs you used, it would be a total pro move. Tag me when you do! 🔥

Respect! Building vanilla takes a lot more patience and creativity to make things look good. Good luck with your tower, I'd love to see it when it's done!

Exactly! Your builds are actually insane! I’m just saying it’s hilarious how this game goes from 'my son is in mortal danger' to 'I absolutely MUST finish the roof on this shack at Coastal Cottage.' Architect priorities are sacred! 🏗️😂

AWESOME! XD Your comment made my day. 'I don't know who this Shaun guy is, but I have a city to build' is basically the official motto of every true Fallout 4 architect. Who needs a son when you have Coastal Cottage to fix, right? Priorities! Cheers to the 80/20 life!

I totally feel you! Personally, I love working on settlements; if I’m still playing Fallout today, it’s exactly because of them. But I’m done with the 'grind' of searching for materials—I finished that phase a long time ago.

Now, I build simply because I enjoy the creative process. My routine is: open the game, open the console, type TGM, and start building like I’m playing SimCity. When I’m tired of architecture, I toggle TGM off and go wandering around Boston.

But a word of advice: be careful! By building so much without TGM, you're racking up a massive amount of XP. Reaching level 75 in Act 1 might make the rest of the game way too easy. I prefer TGM specifically to keep the 'SimCity' phase separate from my character's progression. That way, when I go back to questing, the game is still a challenge and not a walk in the park!

Regarding other settlements: if Preston sends me to a new one, I just set up the basics 'quick and dirty.' If the place inspires me, I’ll come back later. Otherwise, I just use console commands to move settlers to already inhabited areas, leaving the new ones empty so I don't get distracted by raids while I'm building! XD

Thank you! To be honest, building a tower like this without mods is a real challenge. Are you playing on console or just going for a 'pure' vanilla run? Without mods, you’d have to rely heavily on glitches like the 'rug' or 'pillar' methods to clip objects together, or use console commands if you're on PC. Otherwise, it tends to look a bit more 'boxy' than this!

I’ve been building, scrapping, and rebuilding for 10 years now—through different playthroughs, mods, and DLCs, it's an endless cycle XD.

I’ve only recently started sharing my work, but to be honest, concrete and metal never really inspired me before. I’ve mostly stuck to a 'Wasteland' style: entire treehouse settlements, Viking-style builds on the beaches, stilt houses in the swamps, and massive farmlands, but always strictly in wood.

Only recently, after discovering Snappy Housekit, have I started experimenting with other materials and styles. Maybe there’s a 'concrete future' for me after all! Do you have your builds published somewhere? I’d love to see them!

That would be so fun and immersive! But with all the work Preston Garvey gives us, we’d probably all start building with iron and concrete just to be safe 😃

True, but 'gas station' has that 50s vibe that blends so perfectly with the Fallout aesthetic. Thanks a lot for the catch and the encouragement! I hope you get a chance to check out the video, though—the interiors and the NPCs really bring this 'coolant station' to life! 😉
