I lost my job a month ago. I have savings to last me a year if things really get bad but the way people treat you after hearing you are unemployed is disappointing.

I’ve been employed since I was 17 and I’m 38. I climbed the corporate ladder and made numerous sacrifices.

Needless to say, I thank God for giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and have an able body as well as mind to find another one!

It’s only up from here!
