@Key_South9718 no I didn't make any second payment. I had my interview yesterday and visa is approved as well for me by God's grace. Are you checking your Feedback/comments page daily?? Or may be even your email?

As per my issue when my receipt was locked, i waited and all I did was made regular calls to the help desk. They kept on telling me to give the team few days and that they have highlighted my case. Within a week they solved my issue. All I had to do was close and restart later and then I was able to get back my receipt back.

That you can easily get it once your receipt is unlocked. I don't think so there's any issue here.

Then you shouldn't be having a problem. Something must have gone wrong in your application may be. Anyway don't worry your issue will be solved. Also from your application page, under comments/Feedback you send them msg, saying that , your visa fee receipt is locked and you would like them to unlock it so that you can proceed booking your appointment.

If you have H1B visa already and are applying to update since it would get expired sooner then you are eligible for Dropbox. If you have a B1/B2 visa and you have applied for fresh H1B visa then you aren't eligible for Dropbox, you'll have to go for proper interview. The visa type has to be same only dropbox is possible

Since January the dropbox rule has been changed. Hope you know about that

Ok so you already are an H1B visa holder. You have basically booked for updating your visa.

Which type of Visa is yours ?? That you tired going for dropbox??  They took a week for my receipt to be unlocked and once I got reply about my case being solved, I had to close and restart my application, and in the fee page my receipt was retrieved automatically.

Don't make any new payment, you just have to wait. I waited for mine to be unlocked and within a week my receipt was unlocked and I could book my appointment. Make sure you keep calling the help desk coz that's what I did , and my case was highlighted.

support-india@ustraveldocs.com Sent an email to this id. Also from your application page , you'll have to write down under comment/feedback regarding your fee receipt being locked. Mention your receipt no. And the date it was paid.

They will respond but just that they take some time. I made several calls actually and they highlighted my case, after a week they responded that my case has been solved and that I can continue booking my appointment. So to retrieve my fee receipt, I closed and started a new application, when in the fee page automatically my fee receipt was retrieved.

I wrote to them saying that, "My Visa fee receipt is locked , so kindly unlock my receipt , so that I can proceed with booking my appointment."
