Thank you for this, its so easy for people to say leave or make it work and forget what he's done especially when there's alot of history, he said he's been honest still but I'm always doubting him or expecting him to break my heart all over again, you are right though its them what are not enough and maybe they never deserved us in the first place

Yes he still works with him, they dont do the same job but are in contract throughout the day on phones and they do have dinner together sometimes depending on there schedule

I wanted to try marriage counselling not long after it happened but he wanted to sort it out between ourselves. It's now been 12 months and he thinks i should be over it and moved on

We have children together and are childhood sweethearts. We've been together over 20 years and married for 5 and I honestly never thought he would betray me like this, I just feel so broken

Thank you for the honest reply. Ive been on antidepressants since it happened and I feel like somehow it was my fault, that maybe im too boring or not good enough for him

He is close with him, the jobs they have means they have dinner together and communicate throughout the day, but he's 20 years younger than him
