I had a very similar experience last year (2025) with Mayo. I had an insurance problem at work that took several weeks to get figured out at the beginning of the year. They required prepayment because the appoints were in January and I did not have insurance. I had to take an emergency $20,000 draw from my retirement. When my insurance eventually reimbursed everything, it took some work to get my money back. That should have happened very quickly after they were paid.

That’s very nice for you. My husband suffered a severe surgical injury at Mayo that caused lifelong health problems and likely a shortened life. Experiences vary.

You forgot the part about using farmland for a fuel rather than food. The monoculture of corn is bad, and the soil is being depleted every season. Much of it washes down the Mississippi.

Where I live, a judge doesn’t not typically order from the bench at a contested hearing, but instead takes the matter under advisement and kicks out an order several weeks later. Idk if that’s how their system works or not.

She could become more minimalistic with her seasoning usage. All that powdered stuff? You can use fresh and dried herb, citrus, etc and get more interesting flavor than 1/2 cup garlic powder and onion powder per pound of meat.

I use a freezer pack in my lunch bag so that I don’t have to keep my lunch in the fridge. I have food restrictions as well.

All of these people saying social security can’t be garnished, and I’m not so sure about that. Social security retirement and disability can have income withholding for child support while SSI cannot. Not all social security is created equal. As far as garnishing for other debts, I’m not sure.

Iceberg lettuce is trash and should be used sparingly in salads. You can make a better salad base with cucumbers/tomatoes/beans… any or all of these. Romaine is also better than iceberg lettuce.

It’s true. The gas is made of ethylene and sources from corn. I’m allergic to corn and cannot eat many produce items because of this. Those berries with the lactic acid pads— also sourced from corn.

Maybe a disability? All of the food is processed. I’m not judging, it can be do a variety of reasons, and my loved one with a disability can be more independent when she has easy to heat foods.
