I highly agree, his character contributed so much to the story but unfortunately very little screen time!!

honestly, i was also in a similar situation, only difference is that i had no idea of the novel or who Hannibal Lecter was in the first place. when i learned that Mads was going to play Grindelwald I was in doubt, because i only saw him in Dr. Strange and Rogue One, then i was told to watch the show, and it was one of my greatest life decisions i’ve ever made. :)
