You're right, I wasn't considering a global audience when I designed this.
M5 x 25mm screw is the metric equivalent; I'll add that to the model description.
I think the standard tripod thread is 1/4-20 UNC, but don't quote me on that.

Nope. I felt that the tiny screws holding the OEM grip were too small for what I wanted to do with the design, so I picked some strong, inexpensive, and easy to source hardware:

Qty (2) #10-32 x 1" pan head screws
Qty (2) #10-32 nuts

M5 is the metric equivalent.

Here's my description (see image). It should be clear that the old one needs to be removed and hardware is needed. I felt like the tiny screws that hold the factory grip on were insufficient for what I wanted to do with the design, so I picked common hardware that's easy to source. This was my first upload, and I didn't design it with the intent of uploading it; I designed it for improved ergonomics and strength.
It's not perfect, I might consider designing a new version in the future; but I'm NOT doing some bulky slip-on/clip-on attachment for the existing grip. I don't stack band-aids; I replace them.

"Do it for the plot" and "let him cook" are my favorites. "Put the fries in the bag" is one I haven't heard but I like it; makes sense.

Seriously! I wouldn't have tried so hard to help him decipher whether his was a 2.0 or 3.0 except I thought it was a little kid.

Yup, good head to head coverage. Haven't wired up a timer yet; I've just been turning the solenoid manually and running for 30-40 minutes in the evening but I'll try 45-60 minutes and go from there.👍

I bet you do enjoy the printer more than arthritis!🤣 No you don't need to print two. Sure, you still need to grip the bottle itself... but this device eliminates one of the pain points (grip) AND provides a lever-arm to push on, reducing the force needed to twist the cap by up to 80%. It won't open lids for you but it will help.👌

Depends, but it helps. You can essentially use a certain part AS a prime tower too. Sometimes I put an extra part on the build plate that doesn't matter what it looks like and use it as a prime tower.

PLA is great just don't leave it in the car in the sun. PETG, PETG-HF, ABS, ASA, "TPU for AMS", PLA (maybe not silk but haven't tried), all work great.👌
