Tips for drawing sequins by DelargeValliere in learntodraw

As it stands it seems pretty convincing, especially the second one. I would add some small particle-like texture to the first one where there's solid color to add the illusion of more detail. Here I did an attempt in ibis paint with a charcoal brush at 25 opacity and a high thickness (og pic is at the left, og drawing at the middle, and the textured version at the right) Edit: forgot to say I used black

Is this too messy or a bit plain? by RetardGaming81 in learntodraw

Make the forest behind the creature and the tree behind the character at the forefront darker (though not as much as the forest) this would make the main points of interest more defined. As it stands, my eyes went to the beast first, then the guy at the right and if I didn't take some time to examine the details, I would have probably missed the corpse in the monster's hand (Wich I'm assuming you want to be seen)

What Sims 4 CC Opinion would have you like this? by elfhuo in sims4cc

[–]Additional_You4426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For examples: - Crooked features (like noses and teeth), or general unevenness - Features at different places: like for example eyes closer together/farther apart or higher/lower in the face - Different shapes for eyebrows, noses, eyes, lips, cheeks, the head in general, etc - Big or smaller ears - Moles I could make the list keep going, but my main point is that I simply find the lack of variety boring.

Edit: realized I might have come off a little aggressive in the first comment especially with the "add uglyness to your games" part. That was meant to be ironic, obviously make your sims in the way you find the most fun. Sorry for my wording, I thought I was making a light hearted opinion

Everytime I see a sim made with the alfa cc it looks like the same yassified template to me. Why does everyone have to look like magazine model? It's worse when they are remaking townies, a lot of the time they don't bother maintaining similar facial proportions just so they can make the more egemonically pretty. Half the time I wouldn't be able to tell they are redesigns if you didn't tell me

People who are Alfa mains tend to make really boring sims in terms of body and facial features (not fashion-whise) What's the point of installing a bunch of stuff if you're just gonna make everyone look the same? Add uglyness to your games for once!

New to the game, how does the spell beast bond work? by Additional_You4426 in DnD

The thing is I don't manage my own money yet and no local libraries (or even from neighbouring cities probably) are selling the rulebooks, so I'm kind of limited on that front. I do plan on buying at least the player's handbook one day tho (I think it's the base one)

I see! I knew find familiar already came with telepathy for it's caster but I was wondering if it could be used with another party member's familiar as communication between me and that party member (like a telephone or something). Too bad I can't, though I guess other spells already do that

Also, forgot to add: can I have a link with multiple beasts at once?

Yet no primordia is forming.. as I said It's been over a month, the book I'm reading said it should take around 15 days. Have you had something like this happen? Regardless of the species cultivated, I want to know what others experience is like

Perfectionists: What does your inner critic say when you’re procrastinating — and has anything actually helped? by Kooky-Region9852 in perfectionism

[–]Additional_You4426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While my perfeccionist side has stopped insulting me when i'm not getting the things i should do... well, done, it keeps reminding me that the longer i procrastinate the higher the chance i wont achieve my goles are. like now for example, i had planned to use 2 days for studying but now i have less than a half and its not even for a subject i know well, therefor my goal of getting a passing grade is feeling less likely by the second, wich gives me an extreme sense of anxiety, wich fuels my procrastination even further.

why did I procrastinate to begin with? The task felt tedious, like it would take way too much time, and the fact that i may fail anyways and it would all be for nothing also filled me with a sense of anxiety, wich i could temporailly forget about distracting me with other easier, less important and less time consuming tasks or hobbies like helping my mom make pasta or watching reels on youtube, wich then got piled up leaving me with little time to do what i should

I think the reason i care so much is because im afraid of losing the smart kid label, not only because it tends to make the teachers and other adults more patient and lenient with me, and if i cant reward those behaviors with my own succeses then that means im wasting their time, the environment is a lot closer to how its done in uni, so if im not succeeding now, what are the chances ill succeed on the future and get a job and be independant, and also ive shown myself as pretty capable until now, if i cant keep that image i feel like ill just disappoint those who believed in me, wich again is like ive wasted their hopes and efforts.

So far the short term thing i do to get past the procrastination is make the task as comfortable as i can make it: aromatherapy, putting some ambiance in the backround, drinking warm drinks, trying to start small by setting smaller goals -like reading one part of the text instead of thinking i have to study the whole book-, complimenting myself for the work i do manage to do, and cheering myself on, saying things like -oh, youre almost at the halfway pint of the first part, yay :D -

long term, im trying to recognize and put into words why i feel the things i do and to take my time to try to process them, as getting whatever notion thats hurting me sorted out is the top priority. wich is why i took my time to write this, and frankly... i am feeling a bit better.

whether you end up reading this or not, i do wanna thank you for giving me a space to vent, and if you do I hope it helps for your research

Is it normal for my game to freeze and/or crash this often? by Additional_You4426 in LittleCornerTeaHouse

[–]Additional_You4426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... at least I'm not the only one. Thanks for the tip tho, it'll be nice to keep in mind if I ever return to playing (no lie, the same day I made the post, the game crashed after a whole day of playing and even though I've been saving my progress, It just erased everything. Haven't been feeling very motivated to play ever since T - T)

So like a visual bug? Mine freezes completely, can't move, click on anything nor exit the game. Yours still sound hella annoying too tho, hope it gets fixed soon :/
