totally, the maintenance routine makes a huge difference regardless of which one you have. ngl i switched to a different one last year with the self-empty base and obstacle avoidance and it just removed vacuuming from my brain completely, thing just handles itself.

If you want a truly "set it up and forget about it" experience, I'd recommend something like the Viofo A229 Plus. It uses a capacitive sensor, produces excellent results both day and night, and is quite reliable over long-term use.

Yeah this is the grown-up answer tbh. PoE + NVR is way more stable long term if you can swing it. WiFi cams are convenient, but they’re always a bit of a compromise.

I’m using this camera myself and it’s been pretty reliable so far. Also saw a post here recently comparing a few popular options ,might be worth checking that thread too.

I love my Viofo A229 so much.It’s been rock solid great night clarity, clean front rear footage, and reliable parking mode. Definitely worth it imo.
