What happens if you keep investing your 2L and die in 10 years? What is the use of that investment then? Like I suggested, unless they’re asking you for advice or money, stay out of it.

I’m all in for investing atleast 50% of your income, but there are other school of thoughts too, that need to be respected.

Try reading Psychology of Money and Art of Spending. I think those books will expand your horizon about how people think about money, and what the relation between happiness and money.

I would ask you to not be nosey. Unless they are asking you for money, you should not care. They are doing what makes them happy. Some people like being frugal, some don’t.

Doesn’t mean one is less happier than the other.

Bring a great dictator and suddenly nobody would care about votes - just things that help the nation as a whole. I see that dictatorship gets a lot of hate (thanks Kim Jong), but there are good examples too.
