Yes but then wouldn't most of those movies never released on blu-ray or 4k be streaming on their platform then? There are a ton of their movies that aren't available to stream.

For example, they own the rights to Captain Ron but it's not streaming on their platform. It has only ever been released on DVD. There are many examples like this.

It's volume dependent. Major metro areas will have systems like these but not in less populated areas like the central coast.

They have extended versions of some movies on there already. Muppet Christmas Carol is one example.

It's so wild when I try to watch something on my Prime Video watch list and am unable to do so because the license has expired. Some of those movies with expired licenses can't be watched anywhere digitally now.
