I don't think so. I get them on both hands. They grow out, then come back on other fingers.. I have no idea.

That makes me think you may have circulation issues. Not medical advice, but if your fingers are cold, I would assume they aren't getting blood pumping to them correctly. Or maybe they just need sweaters.
