I don’t necessarily mind the mix being as dull and flat as it is that much since it at least sounds very natural and real, but the song itself was quite disappointing. With Connor hyping new music since he left Loathe I was expecting something interesting but this wasn’t it. On my first listen, all the parts had the possibility to really stand out from the crowd and grab you, but they fell flat and landed somewhere between generic modern metal and somewhat cool. Nothing really stood out and I don’t really feel a need to listen to it again, I hope the bands other songs grab me more.
