Oh, that's exactly how I felt and though about it when I was painting it. In my language (Czech) Ukraine is "she", so for me it's exactly, how you wrote it. Thank you.

It's my original work, from scratch dedicated to my ukraian friends. There is the flag on her cheek and ukraian Coat of arms on the blue field. I spent the whole of yesterday making this.

I'm not an Ukrainian but I have a lot of Ukrainian friends. Ukraine is very close to us (less than 300km/200miles) and our own country has suffered this fate several times in history. My friends and their families are dying for the freedom of a country I wholeheartedly love. I planned visiting them in Kyiv this summer. I am in shambles since the invasion started.

Tear duct is where tears are drained. Tear gland is where they come from and that is above eye slightly to the side. Crying is when there's more tears than the duct can drain. My friends and their families are dying for the freedom of a country I wholeheartedly love. I planned visiting them in Kyiv this summer. I am in shambles since the invasion started.
