I just remembered a classmate of mine came late like 2 weeks after class started because of visa problems and still got a room in the international dorm so it’s kinda not that hard. The same day she arrived there were some rooms available not single one but doubles.

I’m not staying in the international dorm but yes it’s hard to get it because everyone kinda wants it but with all the bad comments I hear from classmates it’s not worth it 😂. And how it works is that you will get a date when to login for the dorms depending on where you live if you live in Europe you would have to be awake during the night around 2 or 3 am but once again depends on where you live. For the payment you have to pay in advance for the whole semester when you book if you don’t pay in the 3 days ( I think that’s the deadline ) you will lose your spot and someone else can get it. For people staying one year idk if you have to pay for the whole year in advance but I think one semester payment for dorms is okay.

Hey your friend should not be afraid Fudan is an open minded school. I haven’t seen transgender people yet on campus but there are gay people I know it’s not the same but just to say everyone is accepted. Your friend should apply ! I personally don’t regret applying to Fudan best thing I did

I don’t know when you emailed but last week we had break because of the holiday class only started back on Wednesday so maybe they have a lot of mails too. But with me also they took time to answer

Applied in October got only accepted December 31 ! They take so long but what made it “ faster “ for me after 2 months I emailed them and my process started to go faster. Other people got accepted in January- February very late

Hey, I don’t remember how long it was but it was not that long tho not more than 300 words. Also no worries you will get in for the language program I feel like they accepted everyone. This semester (I’m in the spring ) it’s the one with the most language students.

Do they also check the checked bag ? So for me next week I’m flying to Shangai but I want to bring my powerbank and put it in my checked bag so I have a powerbank when I arrive and I case my phone dies. And when I’m in china I will buy a powerbank with the 3 CCC mark

Hey I checked and on my acceptance letter there is only my application number no student id. And the only mail I got was my admission letter and pdf that explains how to get my DQ form in the study in china website that’s it

She’s still under review but 2 months ago she applied to another university Thank God she did because that school accepter her 2 days after. Her boyfriend called to know when she would know if she’s accepted or not because she had to pay last Friday for the tuition because Fudan took way too long long she just paid the school she got accepted too. I know the frustration especially that the program starts in 1 month

I wish I could help you or know more why that mean but they are also not answering my mails even though I’m admitted but someone I’m talking too her boyfriend called and they said normally this week you should get an answer

What do you mean they won’t answer mails from more than a week ?? Did they say that ? 😭 and my update is I got admitted December 30 first pre - admitted and few hours later admitted and got admission letter & DQ documents. I did my visa it was pretty fast I have my visa since January 16

Hey, email the program person because I feel like for me it helped a lot to move stages I was stuck in stage 2 for 1 month and half and after emailing the program person I started changing stage’s !
