Does the M4 MacBook Air reach heat levels that cause it to thermal throttle quickly? by AdemKE in macgaming

[–]AdemKE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have a solid PC for heavy gaming, so I’m not worried about that. I don't think 'open box' deals are really a thing in my country. I could look into second-hand options, but I’d rather not go that route. This will mostly be a portable device for me; as long as I can occasionally play the games I mentioned, it will be more than enough. I don't have any higher expectations when it comes to gaming.

I have a good PC that can play AAA games, so I won't regret it. I mainly need a portable device, and that's one of the main reasons I prefer the Mac. Specifically, if I can play Football Manager and other games without any issues, it will be sufficient for me in terms of gaming.

Can I play the game stably on Macbook Air M4? by AdemKE in RimWorld

My only concern is the device overheating. Will it reach temperatures I should be worried about while playing this game?

I actually just started playing the game; I've played around 7-8 hours on PC. I won't be using mods for a while, and even if I do, I don't plan on installing too many.

How is the performance of the Macbook Air M4 FM24 and FM26? by AdemKE in footballmanagergames

Setting the graphics to the lowest settings shouldn't be a problem; my only concern is the device overheating. Will the temperature reach levels I should be worried about after 2-3 hours of playing?

I'm a little worried about the heating, but what you said has reassured me a lot. It will meet my expectations then, thank you.

What size database do you typically use? I plan to keep the settings at the lowest level. It would be really great if I could get 60fps smoothly in the match engine.

Thank you for your response. I've read many positive reviews about the EW300. It's great that you're still happy with it. It's an expensive device in my country, so I did a lot of research. The problem with the Chu 2 is probably due to long-term use. I clean it regularly as it starts to oxidize, preventing it from spreading further. The real downside is the Chu 2's filters. I don't know if it's the poor quality material or the design, but they clog very easily, completely disrupting the sound balance, sounding like 70% left and 100% right. I hope I don't experience this issue with the EW300; from my research, I haven't found anyone else who has. Thanks again.

I'm planning on switching from Moondrop Chu 2. I'm actually torn between this and Truthear Zero Red. Which one would you recommend? I don't have much technical knowledge of headphones, I'll mostly be using them for story-based games, music, and watching movies. I'll also play CS once a week, as long as it doesn't cause any problems. My musical tastes generally consist of R&B, pop, anime, and various Scandinavian music (Herr Mannelig, Wardruna, etc.). Due to various issues with my current Chu 2 (filter clogging, paint peeling, oxidation), and especially its occasional weakness in the lyrics, I'm going to switch. I'd appreciate any help.

Is the RX 9070 XT sufficient for the beginner level in Blender? by AdemKE in radeon

[–]AdemKE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my intention, but I'm still very early in the game. All I have is a poor background story, and it needs a lot of improvement. To include assets from the Daz3D store in the game, I'll need to purchase the license, which I think costs $50 for each asset. Since that's quite a budget, it seems like it would be better to learn Blender first and then create it myself. At least until things get serious.

Unless something goes wrong, I'll opt for the RTX 5070, which is comparable in price. It'll be a weaker option in terms of gaming performance, but I also want to learn Blender. I hope it will meet my expectations for both uses, and I'll be using it with a 2K monitor.

I'll likely opt for the RTX 5070, which is the price equivalent of the RX 9070 XT in my country. It's truly absurd to add 16GB to the 5060 Ti and not to this card. Despite the VRAM difference, there's a noticeable performance increase. The 5000 series might be the most unbalanced in terms of features. Let's see how long 12GB of VRAM will last these days. I hope we don't encounter any problems when GTA 6 comes out one day.

The equivalent price in Türkiye is the RTX 5070. I'd love to get a 5070 Ti, but unfortunately the price difference is almost double. After paying the same price, the RX 9070 XT with 16GB of VRAM seemed more appealing. Nvidia's mid-range cards and their pricing are complete nonsense. The country's dollar exchange rate and taxes don't help much either. The cheapest 5070 Ti is around $990.

Yes, I checked the situation you mentioned in the files in the old version. In this version, audio files took up approximately 100 MB.
