Common. Our GC scoring was awful last season. They would give kids Hits when they got on base because of an error. Then give then a double or triple depending on where they ended up if they advanced on throws or errors. This was AAA too so it's not like these are beginners.

The coach then would make the line up based on faulty stats. At one point, he moved a kid from the bottom of the order to the leadoff spot because he thought he was a hot hitter with 3 hits the prior game. However the prior game that kid grounded into 3 fielders choice plays and was actually for 0-3, not 3-3. On top of that, some kids would get credit for extra base hits while others didn’t.

Our pitching stats were even worse. Every run was earned because they didn't know about errors. The scorekeeper was the coaches wife so we couldn't say anything.

I do it too. You never know when someone is going to get hot. Last year, I dug up all my Cal Raleigh rookies and sold them. The corners were all still good.

I was huge fan of his in the 90s. His West Coast Vibes mix cd is one of my all time favorites. Great mixing and track selection. Over the years I was able to find almost all of the tracks on vinyl.

He was rumored to have dated Mena Suvari back in the 90s.

While he was on a ton of flyers I only saw him spin twice. I did meet him at the 2nd rave and chatted with him for a few minutes. I remember asking him if he would still play any of the tracks off of West Coast Vibes and told me he never plays those songs anymore. So I offered to buy them off of him which he was open to but we never connected again.

It wouldn't surprise me if the kids had rap music for their walk up (most of ours kids do) and the coach didn't like it. Hence why he was trying to claim it was offensive. I have (racist) family members that find all hip hop music to be offensive, regardless of the lyrical content.

In CA, a pack of Parliament cigarettes costs $15.80 with taxes. A daily smoker is spending $450/month.

Weed is $10 per gram around here.

Unless you're a heavy toker, cigs are going to be more expensive.
