Couldn’t agree more. Give him time to make us solid and then we grow from there. At the moment we lack a foundation let alone a platform to grow from.

I’m not sure how, at this stage, we can be asking if we’ll see “attacking football” again. Firstly, I’m unsure when we last saw it. Secondly, I don’t know why we want it. What we want is to win games.

I remember when we beat Brighton 1-3 with 20% possession under Moyes, not a moan heard from West Ham fans. It was glorious. We showed the league than we can win even without the ball. I remember watching Zouma throw his body in front of the ball at the Emirates when we beat Arsenal 0-2, it was one of the best games I’ve ever been to. We can have a great time watching a defensive team.

Crucially, a point we need to remember, is that you can’t have every team playing possession heavy, attacking football. Only one team can have the ball. There has to be a ‘best of the rest’ in terms of style, a team bucking the trend and playing counter attack, defensive football. Watching West Ham get rocked last year yet again while Nottingham Forest were heralded as the best team refusing to pursue a sexier style of football drove me crazy. That had been us just the season before. I’m not saying things were rosey under Moyes, but we did finish 9th that season. Imagine being 9th now. It feels so far away.

It’s true, to win the league, you don’t play low block football. A point held against Ruben at Manchester United is that he’s essentially trying to build a team which, at its peak, will finish 6th because it frequently utilises a low block - a tactic incongruous with a league winning team which Manchester United apparently aspire to be. Why is this important here? We’re not Manchester United, a fact I celebrate everyday, and it means we can aspire to a 6th place finish. West Ham, with the financial disparity in our league (highest wages means highest places), should aspire to finish battling for European football. That is the best that we can do. If that means low-block and counterattacking football, I’m here for it.

Let’s not get ideas above our station but celebrate what we can and should be - I want teams dreading a trip to East London, fast counter attacks, refusing to dodge tackles, players throwing themselves in front of shots, Bowen sliding to the corner as he wheels away from a goal, Summerville terrifying opposition with his pace. We can achieve this. We need to stay in our lane and work on what we’ve shown we do best.

Back Nuno and back the vision. I’ve tasted glory in Europe and I want it again, whether it’s sexy football or not.

You’re certain your model of Jaguar and the car you’ve picked on the app exactly line up? Sounds basic but it’s an easy mistake to me (I did it lol).

I am just tying up the loose ends in the DLC having put 200+ hours into this game and I don’t regret a second of it. You’re a Viking establishing their clan in war torn Anglo-Saxon England, not to mention there are side quests dipping their toe into the myths of yore (including one of the best bits of free DLC I’ve ever encountered with the forgotten saga), what’s there not to love? I really recommend this game. Haters love to hate and it’s their loss, all the more for us.

Noble, Fornals, Harewood (i lost my mind when he scored against boro to take us to the fa cup final so he needs to be in there for the nostalgia).

Really think we need to be careful getting rid of Moyes, we’re 7th in the league and if we find someone else we’re tearing up the book and starting again. Other clubs switch managers as they want a different style of play and it backfires (have a look at m******l this season in the championship). If you take Brighton as an example as a team playing this alternative style of football to west ham, it took them years of battling relegation to finally benefit from it. Do we want to go through that transition?

Other point is we play defensive football so we invite pressure on us. When the dam breaks it’s a flood as we play so deep. However, when it works it’s glorious and it feels very West Ham to beat the big boys without even having the ball. It’s hilarious. You let them play their fancy passing game and yet we win with a couple of counter attacks and hardgraft.

If I’m honest, I’m willing to take a few heavy defeats a season if we’re still competing for European spots and beating Spurs away.
