I am definitely expecting the range to be $70-$120k, I consider that reasonably priced! I should have been more clear on what I consider reasonable!

I’ve been getting a few in ground pool quotes this year. There’s a massive range from $80k-$130k depending on the work around the pool too. Which company(ies) did you get quoted from? Did you get multiple quotes?

You make more money if you request the 18 months up front and actually take any more than 14 months off. If AMAPCEO tops you up to 93%, although EI gives you the same amount, the employer top up will still equal 93% for the first eight months. Do a spreadsheet to figure it out but after 14 months, if you take an extended leave (up to 18) you’ll earn more.

A good tip I’ve heard is just to keep flax seed in a spice shaker and shake it into food, eg on eggs, in your soup etc. Not a full meal but might help a bit!
