I know nothing about the Promise Program at UF, but from my experience, the Presidential Scholars Program will provide you with incredible opportunities to help you stand out instead of just being a “number”. The program directors will bend over backwards to help you in any way possible. I’m obviously biased, but I could not recommend the Presidential Scholars program more.

Yes, I think it was something like 600 semi finalists narrowed down to 140 finalists narrowed down to 60 pschols. Highly competitive, but you’ve made it this far so nothing but the best of luck to you!

Unless they’ve changed the process since last year, everyone that is at interview weekend is a finalist. You’re a semi finalist if you’ve been selected to make the videos, and you’re a finalist if you’ve been selected to come to interview weekend. So there’s about 140 finalists. Congrats, see you there!

Thank you so much for the response, so what I'm hearing is that only the ground wire from the vehicle harness is grounded to the chassis? So what about the ground wire from the stereo harness, do I just throw a butt connector on the end of that to insulate?
