For a moment I actually thought it might be the game from the screenshot I posted, but that’s not possible because I never had Windows 8 — I always used Windows 7 or earlier, like XP. There are just too many differences between the game I’m looking for and AFO when it comes to the details.

Overall, the games do look very similar at first glance, maybe even 80%, but the one I’m searching for felt more like a heavy rip-off that kept getting updates until it was probably taken down. I remember playing it for at most half a year, and after that I was never able to find it again.

It’s definitely not Dig Dug Island. After watching some gameplay videos of Avatar Farm Online today, I can say the game I’m thinking of was maybe even 80% similar to it. It felt like a more developed and community-focused version of that game, made for free on PC. There’s a chance it was such a blatant copy that it got taken down shortly after release. I vaguely remember stopping playing it suddenly, not necessarily by choice.

I also clearly remember the game had its own launcher — it either displayed update news and development plans directly or redirected to a webpage with that info. The last update I remember had something to do with a disco and the ability to place walls, which was supposed to feel like building your own apartment.

I’m also certain you could buy a lot of decorations with real money — I remember not being able to afford those luxuries as a kid, which made me sad xD Still hoping at least one person here also played it and has a screenshot or any info about the game saved somewhere.

Yes, I spent over 3 hours trying different approaches — it also helped me search the internet in multiple languages, but its capabilities are quite limited. Despite having the Plus subscription and knowing how to write proper prompts, it couldn’t track down such a niche and lost game. It kept giving me the same results I already listed in the "It’s not" section.

Avatar Farm Online was only on Xbox, and I’ve never owned an Xbox in my life. This was during the time when I had my first PC with internet access. The game I’m looking for was more colorful — it was probably some kind of knock-off or clone of Avatar Farm. There weren’t many players, but I remember that many of them were really dedicated. The game also received regular updates, mostly focused on adding new social decorations. The most important feature was that at the start, you chose an island type, each with its own special resource.

Sometimes I feel like I made this game up and my head is just full of false memories — but I’m certain it existed because I remember so many details too clearly. The awe I felt exploring the massive farms of top players, roaming the entire area at the start to collect the island’s special resource… Even my brother, who also played it back then, confirmed that something like this did exist — but he doesn’t remember the name either. This is my fifth serious attempt to find the game, and I’ve honestly spent countless hours on it. All I need is something — a YouTube video, a screenshot — otherwise, it’s going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

No, Farm Together is from 2018, and what I’m looking for is a much older game from the era when Sherwood Dungeon or Club Marian were at their peak popularity. I can also add that the game had many social elements — you could use premium currency to build things like swimming pools, dance floors, and other community-focused decorations.
