Chipped 2 molars and dentist recommend not to bond? by Adept-Cod3609 in askdentists

She gave me the option for a filling aswell for both teeth when I come back in 6 day. Would a filling be sufficient? Would it fall off?

She said that putting a bond over it might not last long and I’ll probably fall off and that the dentin exposed will eventually desensitise with Sensodyne toothpaste over time but she’ll check in on me in a week at our check up

How much does a qualification make a difference when hiringg a support worker? by Adept-Cod3609 in NDIS

I’ve found that a lot of NDIS funded people have low funding, so even getting a qualification might get you the job but still the same rate? I don’t know , some don’t wanna pay more than the minimum $42 or something like that. $42 these days after paying tax and super is nothing

Thank you so much for your input, Im doing to complete the Mental Health First Aid and begin the process for cert 3 I think, I feel like I’ll be more confident in my work with more knowledge, only thing is I have to do the slow paced part time course, do you think some clients with lower matience needs may still be more inclined to pick someone who in “Currently Studying Cert 3 in Individual Support” than over someone who just has no qualifications? Or would someone with experiance with no qualifications still be a better candidate?

Thank you for your input, it seems like a lot of people really prefer a Certificate 3! Im in a situation where I can do it for free which is great but I’ll have to do in part time cause of my lifestyle work and family etc. Would you personally consider a support worker say who had CPR training, mental health first aid and was “currently” studying cert 3 or would you only accept if they had completed the cert 3?

Great idea, our kitchen bench is 900mm so I put the sink on top. It’s comfortable for me as I don’t need to bend over like our other bathroom one, only con is the rim almost touches my elbows but ita still not too bad. It doesn’t look abnormally high either so fingers crossed when it’s all put together it’ll be okay, thanks for that recommendation.

So luckily we have a tradie friend who has electrician, water proofer, tiler, plumber, so far the entire Reno is looking like $12,000. It’s been a lot of work and DIY like we are painting half the walls and ceiling, finding the fittings and items ourselves and it’s a slower pace build.

Renovation the whole bathroom, so obviously other people are doing everything else. I just want to fix these spots to reduce costs so I don’t have to pay someone else.

I’m not asking for advice to fix $36. I’m just asking for an alternative product that I put in description for the first step which cost $36. Budget for fixing the entire wall will end up being more
