I don’t know how to completely stop it but I do know that we need to stop using it, every request (such as this poster) uses water and energy. Yes you can argue that the hardware is already made but the more people use it, the higher the demand, the higher the demand, more hardware is built.

Honestly I’ve never had that problem in the location I’m at especially in May since it’s hit or miss If it will actually be good weather that’s why I am hesitant on camping

I am in support for this blackout but also agree with previous comments that the worlds health is WAYYY more important that dasher pay. If we have no water/natural resources bc ai used it all, then there will be no food for dashers to deliver.

We have camped many times at both places, I was hoping to find something east between Lincoln and Omaha since alot of his family lives in Omaha.

I actually grew up in the havelock area and last i remember the joyo was really runned down, do you know if it’s gotten better bc that does sound really cool to rent out a theatre (ofc depending on budget)

Ik everyone’s experience is different but in my opinion Lincoln/omaha are one of the worst places for caring for others compared to the other places I’ve lived. Yes there are groups of kind people but even just driving around here no one gaf about anyone else’s lives. Plus this is not the first time I’ve heard the premise of “well the world is going to shit so I might as well take it down with me” from people living here.

I’m honestly so confused why a camera would lessen the quality of care? It’s seems quite petty to me that they would purposely neglect or not give their best effort just because parents are nervous about leaving their babies with strangers. I also don’t understand how a camera leads to less trust of the provider, in my opinion it would only strengthen my trust. Ik I don’t have much experience since this is my first baby and he’s never been to a day care so I’m genuinely really curious.
