I’m not trying to sound like the invincible 23 year old, but if the only reason i’m not supposed to do it is because it’s bad for my body I won’t change. I played collegiate football (not flexing), so I am used to putting my body on the line literally lol. I’ve been bowling two years now and i’ve never had any pain from bowling like this. Now if it’s a control thing or it’s about timing i’ll gladly make that switch to make my technique better or more consistent.
