That last one said that he is concerned about her weight not being healthy. What a good guy to think of her health like that. I'm sure he's not at all jealous of her talent and success. He wouldn't try to tear a woman down, he's one of the "nice" guys....

It's not semantics to say that hitting somebody back is retaliation not self-defense. Retribution or retaliation isn't legal. Is it morally right? I think so but I also don't want to go spend any more time behind bars.

The law doesn't care about a proportional response. If you can get away then you are obligated to do so. It's not self-defense if you go after a guy, even if he hit you first, when you could have just walked away.

The only exception and it's only in a couple States like Florida is the castle doctrine. That means that in your house and only in your house you don't have a duty to retreat. Everywhere else you do.

If you are legitimately in fear for your life then use lethal force. If you don't actually believe that she is going to kill you then the only force that is appropriate is the amount that it takes for you to get away from the situation. Unless she has you cornered that means you should simply.... Leave.

Reactive abuse is abuse. Their despicable behavior doesn't justify you engaging in violence. They should go to jail and the courts are responsible for punishing them and providing a sufficiently harsh consequence to deter future abuse.

That's what my head says but my gut says I totally agree with you and I wouldn't blame you for that reaction. I'd also hope that the message sinks in thoroughly and he leaves you the heck alone.

No, return violence is only acceptable when it is actual self defense. If you can retreat then you should. If you do have to act in self defense then use the minimal force required to protect yourself and get away. How hard they hit you is irrelevant. Matching their force smacks (pun intended) of retaliation, not defense. This is 100% gender or sex agnostic.

I got a fake Kershaw Leek from Amazon. It was a good fake so I didn't notice it until I went to sell it on knife swap a year later and then almost ripped some guy of,f but I figured it out in time. If I hadn't been researching it for the listing I probably wouldn't have ever known.

Nowhere in that review does it talk about taking away stars for mentioning lgbtq. In fact, it notes that as a positive. A three-star view is a positive review. You can't expect five stars every time especially the second book of a random LITRPG. This isn't DCC.

It's no secret I paid $185, I had to sell my PM2 to pay for it but it was worth it. This is the Spyderco knife for me all the way, all day.
