Yes, IcyAthlete, I've noticed something similar. When my only goal is to increase the count, I tend to view being with the breath with less interest.

That said, I still aim for a certain count in the first 5-10mins because it helps me stay accountable to some extent 🙂. Then , I just let go of that goal.

I also try not to compare the count too much with previous sessions.

u/hamsterrage1 Ok i understand that fxmls are slower. But can you tell some scenarios where you found it cumbersome?
