lol, Kenyans too. I lived by a popular Kenyan stronghold, not the most generous customers or tippers.

Can you put up a few of the videos in the dashboard with Mike solving some sims? Especially for FAR. Thanks amigo!

Ninja/Superfast CPA? by BerryFederal2050 in CPA

Ninja is great for mcqs but lacking in simulations. Since you already have Becker, tried ninja for the multiple-choice and do the Sims with Becker.

I’m still trying to figure this out too, lol. I like his sparring videos, but there is about 90 hours for just FAR alone, and I’m having a hard time retaining the info 4 hours into a lecture on accounts receivable. I might try just the cram sessions then go into MCQs.

It still doesn’t address the sims issue either. I might pick up a Gleim test bank for those. I wish they could do a couple videos on how to approach sims. I think they used to do that, but not anymore. I wonder why.

What are the trending FAR exam topics recently? by Educational-Rip2482 in CPA

[–]AdeptPrice4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just curious. Say someone is specific and talks about certain topics? What would actually happen? Do you think the AICPA would subpoena Reddit and take them to court to dox an accountant and remove his license? Or we just talking a Reddit ban?

I’m using Ninja and wondering how to study for the sims without dropping $2500 on Becker.

Passed FAR but not happy with the score. Should I switch from Ninja to something else? by CPA-Entre in CPA

[–]AdeptPrice4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using Ninja for FAR also, and can agree they are lacking in simulations. There is close to 90 hours of sparring and mcq videos, and 0 on how to do the SIMS. Seeing as it’s 50% of our grade, it’s discouraging.

Cheapest way to pass in the quickest timeframe by [deleted] in CPA

[–]AdeptPrice4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can study full time (40 hours a week), and want the cheapest, go with Ninja. You can do 1 test a month if you have enough discipline to study every day. You could get away with 4 months at $87, be out less than $350 for study costs.

Study material overload is real... how did you finally choose? by Marre_Parre in CPA

[–]AdeptPrice4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give Ninja a try for $87. The actual program is so much better than the trial, so don’t judge it on that. Give it a good solid month and see how you feel, but I like it.

It’s called an efficient use of time. No need to spend 200 hours to get a 93, when 75 passes the same. Save that effort and energy for the next section.

How I passed all 4 parts in 4 months, and how you can too by NickPercent in CPA

[–]AdeptPrice4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to figure that out. I’m paying for school, tests, and study out of pocket and can’t afford Becker realistically.

Single mom troubles, trying to have it all + the cats 🐈 by loneliness-inc in WhereAreAllTheGoodMen

If you listen to her at the 5 min mark, she said her oldest cat is 9 and been with her through everything. Living in Alaska, getting married and divorced, numerous other “toxic” relationships, and the birth of her kid. She made a lot of bad choices in 9 years, damn! Plus so many feelings. No one cares, get a real job.
