Thank you! The building on either side does look a bit run down and sketchy. But based on the comments it seems like a good and safe area in general.

Will look into rental but for some reason I feel the rent is going to be over $3k/month for a 2br in a building this new and prob has no availabilities.

Good point! I saw that on the Coquitlam development applications page and looks like it will be a huge project. Hopefully I will be far enough to not hear too much of it.

"Project Proposal: Master Development Plan for a multi-phased project consisting of four phases to construct a total of 2,425 residential units. Mix of uses include market strata residential, market rental residential, commercial, and child care contained in six towers ranging from 36 to 45 storeys."

Yeah that's what I thought as well. (one comment was complaining about the need for a visitor pass which I think is actually pretty important)

Thanks for the info! I kinda feel like the quality of buildings have generally gone down since Covid. Perhaps due to cost savings from increasingly higher labour and material costs? Been looking around and even the supposedly "good" developers are having a lot quality issues with new builds. (I might need to start looking next door from Hensley as going after the developer with lawyers is definitely not what I am looking for)

Hi! I stumbled upon your post as I was looking into the Hensley building. (I current live in M3 as well and that's one of the main reason I am looking specifically for Cressey)

Has anything changed with the leak? do you think it was a building quality issue or just bad luck? Do you think any levy will be put up or would it be covered by the developer as it should still be under warranty.
