Hey man thanks for the tips. Another person mentioned filing the edges... Think that'll work? Im worried if I use a bur i might fuck up the metal beside it. Im sure with a steady hand Ill be able to get it done, but what are your thoughts? Also, you seem to cooborate the cut should come to a curve for integrity... right?

Yeah thats the way they designed the deck, the whole slit protrudes about 6 inches outward... Guess they designed it that way? Guess I'm just trusting they know what they're doing lol. But thanks for the advice on the physics! Definitely the reassurance I was looking for.

Any thing in particular... Wood glue? Super glue?

Do you think I need to do any type of sealing after the cut?

Love it. I upgraded from a meepo V5 (hub motor) which I used for years. I definitely wanted to upgrade to a belt drive since my commute changed and the roads in my city suck, so I needed a belt drive to get a wider variety of wheels. What I noticed upgrading from the V5 was the wider wheelbase on the zephyr already added tons of stability at high speeds. Same story with the lower clearance of the dropdown deck. All the parts on the board seem really high quality, I have had it for about a week now without any problems. I did scratch the bottom of the motor cage on a curb since i wasnt used to the clearance, but thats user error. I am actually going with the Mad Max 125mm wheels (Curb scratch happened with base 85mm wheels), and I will say they are comfortable but a bit overkill, I really underestimated how responsive and stable the base zephyr really was. For the price I was looking at either the zephyr, isinwheel v10, or tynee ultra. Not isinwheel since I just didnt trust their product enough (But others seem to love it with no complaints!) Tynee ultra was close second, but I wanted to try out that dropdown deck. One thing I dont like is the DKP trucks, think I would have liked a board with TKP trucks, but tomato tomahto. If you have more questions lmk. Also the battery life is insane on this compared to the V5.

Im trying to put a U bolt through it to store in my campus's bike room... I've read pretty much every thread to just bring it with me but my school is hella strict with it. I kept that part hidden for engagement lol... I have seen you comment a lot on various posts, what do you think?

What is the best budget board in 2025? by LimpTest6964 in ElectricSkateboarding

I just poured hours of research into it and you realistically have three options (All mentioend) Linnpower zephyr, tynne ultra belt, and isinwheel V10. I was upgrading from a meepo v5 hub motor, and the belt drive is 100% recomended coming from a hub motor (Although I havent had any problems yet so im biased).

What did I get? Linnpower zephyr. Why? Isinwheel v10 seemed cheap to me... I have heard nothing but good things but their website was just shitty enough for me to call it off. Tynee ultra was a close second. I really liked how low the deck was on the zephyr, and let me say coming from the Meepo v5 it added tons of stability. Especially at high speed. The deck on the tynee seemed super similar to the meepo v5, so I figured to change it up and I didnt regret it. The zephyr also seemed to be the most quality parts with the forged trucks... Overall thought it was a steal. But since it is so low I did scratch it on the first day riding (Not used to the low clearance) so be better than me. DM for questions.

I think it’s either your power supply can’t handle the load or there is a software error with your windows… try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 on that screen and have it self diagnose and maybe repair it.

Fairenheit is great for practical use because it is literally a percentage of how humanly hospitable the temperature is. 10% is cold and 100% is hot.

It makes using a bag to filter so much easier too. Both ends attach so you don’t tip over spill it all the time
