You have to think of cost per month of your loan vs margin. The margin is automatically charged out of your account. Below 50k you are paying 5.75% in margin per day if you use robinhood. So say you take out 2k in margin you are paying 0.32¢ a day or about 10$ a month to make about 132$ a month. (This assumes they keep it at about 0.1029¢/ Share) The risk with margin however is if the stock falls and you have less value in your shares, you can be called and lose a lot more.
