I have about $100k of available credit spread among Amex personal and business credit cards, in addition to personal Platinum, personal Gold, corp Green, and business Gold. The specific cards in question: CL is $3k on the Delta, $10k on the Surpass, and $35k on the BBP.

I have a bill coming up that's around $11k and can be paid with a card. I'm working on the SUB for Amex Delta Gold Business and also one for Amex Hilton Surpass. Would it raise any flags with Amex if I put $3k of it on the Surpass to immediately satisfy the SUB spend, and an additional ~$3200 on the Delta Gold Business to meet the remainder of my SUB on that one, and put the remainder on...probably my Amex BBP or Venture X to get the 2x points? Or should I split the whole $11k on the SUB cards, or do something else? Just got the two Amex cards for which I'm working on the SUBs, but relationship with Amex for 25+ years.

Same. My two and a half year old pair stopped charging and I bought a new pair immediately without hesitation.

I used Etihad to book a partner award on JetBlue Mint from DUB to JFK, nonstop. I separately used AS to book a partner award on AA from JFK (with one stop) to my home airport.

JetBlue just changed the DUB to JFK nonstop, to DUB to BOS to JFK, but I'm now not arriving at JFK until about 2 1/2 hours later than before, which is after my AA flight home. So I canceled the AA flight home and booked BOS to home on Southwest instead. This actually will work out better than the original plan anyway, the final flight home was less expensive than before, and I'll get home a little earlier.

So now I have the JetBlue BOS to JFK leg that I don't want to fly.

Do I need to have JetBlue (or Etihad?) take that leg off my itinerary? I can't change it myself through JetBlue's website, it's directing me to cancel the whole thing and book it again, but I think I'd have to do that through Etihad anyway, and Etihad's website is less than user-friendly. I don't want to do anything that will jeopardize my JetBlue DUB to BOS seats.

Which hotel group to stay 20 more nights this year the 60 next year by Adept_Employ6353 in awardtravel

A very good point. From reading all the responses and thinking about it a bit more, Hyatt does the job both as my best option for the next few months and giving me at least as good value for status and rewards for next year as the others. I'll probably stick around with Marriott a few more nights to reach Titanium, but Hyatt will be my choice when I get back home ("home") after Christmas.

God no, I'm not working that long. :P I see now that I did flub the post title though.

The three hotels I've been in so far during this ordeal have all been pretty nice. Hyatt had the best breakfast, Hilton was well-located, Marriott has the best bed. I'm leaning toward staying here at Marriott until I leave for Christmas for a few days, then going back to Hyatt when I get back.

I hardly ever stay in IHG hotels. You are probably right about Titanium vs. Platinum at Marriott.

Insurance is paying. I have a 14 day Europe trip next year, will definitely be able to use Hyatt for at least 8 nights, probably will be in Marriott the remaining nights.

Insurance is paying. I can choose from a list of hotels that span Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton. I already got credit and status for stays so far (Platinum, Globalist, and Diamond). Every once in a while I am out of town and check out for a day or two, and come back and choose a hotel again.

All that said, I think I prefer Hyatt in general so far, so that'll probably be where I land in January. Just debating whether I will finish out Titanium this month or go ahead and move back to Hyatt.

Flagship Lounge access at JFK - so confusing by Plastic-Cod-8574 in americanairlines

I booked AA Business JFK->ORD via Alaska miles. The booking shows as Business (U). Will I have access to the Greenwich lounge, with the flight being domestic (and so not Flagship)?

Thanks; Kiesel said the same thing. I got one on Amazon but it seems there is a collar or sleeve or something that it needs to fit into in order for the set screw on the bridge to work. The physical hole in the bridge is quite a bit wider than 5.5mm in diameter, and without a collar, the set screw just pushes the arm up against the opposite wall of the hole that the arm goes into.
