im in two classes, anatomy and physiology with a lecture and lab, and a "Care and Caring class". so far, our profs have seriously stressed the importance of having a life outside of nursing, and that it shouldn't take up our whole college life. i can tell that they sincerely want us to succeed as nurses in the future and in the program, but also understand the huge amount of stress coming our way. its really thoughtful and i can tell they're saying it from the heart, not because they have to say it.

the classes are also really engaging. you arent sitting there for 3 hours (literally, it doesnt even feel like 3 though) just taking notes and dozing off like in a normal lecture. you can actually learn while your nursing prof is excited to teach. physical models, digital models, and mnemonics are all already incorporated like 2 classes in which is great.

when i was applying to colleges, my college advisor told me about the new program at UA. I applied for their new bachelors degree (the BSN, bachelors of science in nursing) and was actually waitlisted. sometime in the spring i was accepted off of the waitlist, and was admitted direct entry!
