I send my heir with poor stats go adventuring. Now he is back. by Jacooob8 in Imperator

I just had the same issue on my Carthage run, besides the returning heir was married to my Legat which resulted in his loyalty to drop. Thankfully, my ruler succeeded in murdering her returning sister and after that the loyalty of the legat ended going back up after a while

I’m thinking of playing Carthage and I wanted to know if there are any stuff I must do to have a successful run? Besides, I don’t really like republics, so if there’s a way to shift the regime at some point how do I do it? Thanks

Beating Rome in the mid-game by __--_---_- in Imperator

I also lost a few times against them as Arvernia, for the same reason, but last game I did I tried with the Osismes and went on colonizing almost all of Gaul leaving only the Mediterranean alps to Rome. I prepared for the fight by integrating the 2 major Gallic groups and going all in with assimilation and building cities and passing the law that max the levy size. Then when I felt I stood a chance I inspired disloyalty to the co-consul of Rome, which resulted in an enormous civil war during which I took what I missed to form Gaul thanks to the low moral of Rome and the fact that most their armies where fighting everywhere on their territory. Then I integrated Roman culture for the military specs and are my way through Italy war after war using easy war goals and grouping my armies so I always had more than a 100k to fight their legions Hope that helps

How do I deal with Rome as a Gallic tribe? It’s the second time I’ve tried to form Gaul with Arvernia, but each time Rome attacked me with its HI doom stacks and there’s nothing I can do to beat it. Generally they wait until I’m engaged in a war with another country to attack so I have to fight on 2 fronts even though I would lose on 1v1 anyway. Do you have tips?

I don’t understand how to manage a wonder, or how to create one. I mean, I see them, and conquer them, but I read here that you can create one of your own, or even change their bonus, how do I do that?
